Regular Giving

Like all parish churches, we rely on the faithful, regular giving of our community to offer the mission of St Bartholomew's and St Christopher's here in Haslemere.  We receive no funding other than from our work as a parish, and the generous support of individuals. 

Haslemere Parish use the Parish Giving Scheme, which is a regular direct debit system incorporating Gift Aid.  Over 80% of those already giving to regularly to the parish use the Parish Giving Scheme.  Gift Aid increases your increases your donation by at least 25%.  Those enrolling onto the PGS have full control of their profile, through our Regular Giving Officer, who is a regular member of the church.

What about confidentiality and security?


Regular givers can use the Parish Giving Scheme with great confidence.  Details about personal giving are handled with great care.  Only the Parish Treasurer and Regular Giving Officer will be aware of who is giving and how much is given.  The clergy and all other leaders of the church will not be aware.  All data security is provided by the Parish Giving Scheme and your own bank.  The parish does not hold any financial data online.

There are two ways to enroll:


If you wish to set up regular giving using the Parish Giving Scheme, then please visit this page to setup a regular direct debit.

Alternatively, you can set up your regular gift by calling 0333 002 1271, to speak to PGS staff.

You will need the following information to hand:
  • Your sort code and bank account details
  • Our details – Parish of Haslemere, ref 1706 17069
  • Whether you wish to increase your giving in line with annual inflation
  • Confirm your eligibility for Gift Aid

We ask that you do not choose the anonymous option, otherwise we shall have no record of your giving to us.

You can change your giving at any time by calling 0333 002 1260, email to info@parishgiving.org.uk or by post to PGS, 76 Kingsholm Road, Gloucester, GL1 3BD.
