Throughout Haslemere Parish and between the two Churches we offer a number of initiatives that cater for differing ages, from Toddlers and young parents through to teenagers and beyond.

On this page you can find details of those aimed at Primary School Children.

Sunday School and Youth Church

St Bartholomew’s Sunday School is for children aged four to 11 and takes place in The Link. Sandy and Charlotte lead the children over to the Link after the first hymn at the family service and lead them back for Holy Communion.

The children listen to readings, discuss their meaning, craft and pray together. Youth Church for those 11 years and older also meets during the service in the Link kitchen to pray, listen to the scripture and learn its meaning.

Messy Church

Messy Church is a fantastic chance to play, pray, create, worship, eat and enjoy our families and friends together.

It takes place once a month in The Link from 3.15—5.30 pm. Children need to be accompanied but an adult but there’s no need to register, just come along, bring families and friends.

For more information please check the dates on the Parish Calendar or contact Sandy Clarke the Youth Minister or Charlotte Parrott the Youth Assistant.

The Wave Holiday Club

Every summer The Wave takes over Haslemere with an activity packed week for primary school age children to take part in a themed week of games, crafting, singing, Bible stories, prayer and craziness.

The week culminates in a family fun day on Lion Green.

Please feel free to contact Sandy Clarke the Youth Minister or Charlotte Parrott the Youth Assistant, details of which are in the Who’s Who section.
