We are delighted to announce that Revd Fiona Gwynn has been appointed as Priest-In-Charge designate for All Saints, Grayswood.
It has been over a year since Revd Barbara Steele-Perkins stood down, and in the vacancy Fiona has proved what a capable minister she is, alongside being a thoroughly likeable lady. She will be a great strength across the whole benefice. In due course there will be a further announcement of the date for an installation service – no doubt a gathering of much rejoicing.
But there is more…………….
It might be assumed that Grayswood has now taken up a pattern of one clergy. But God is good, and we are further able to announce that following an opportunity within the Diocese we are also able to welcome Revd Elaine Collins onto the benefice team. Elaine is currently attached to All Saint Tilford, in the Bourne benefice, and with chaplaincy responsibility for Farnham Castle. Elaine has been holy orders for 7 years as a self-supporting minister, and is particularly focused upon ministries of prayer and spirituality – she will be a great complement to the team, attached to Grayswood. Elaine will be transferring in the late spring 2020. You can find out more about her here: https://www.thebourne.org.uk/life-and-worship/our-team/
These are exciting times, for us all as the benefice team settles down. Please hold Fiona and Elaine in your hearts and prayers for the months ahead.
