Crèche
A crèche is run in the Link (next to St. Bart's). Children too young to join the Sunday School can be taken to the crèche before the service begins. Some parents/carers then collect their children so that they can receive a blessing during Holy Communion. Other children stay in the crèche for the whole service. Creche facilites are also available at St Christopher's.
Quiet Play Area at St Bartholomew's
The small chapel at the back of the church is carpeted and has floor cushions and a box of toys. Please use this space for quiet play at any time during the service. If a child is very restless or upset, please feel free to take them into the Choir Vestry, through the two connecting doors to the front left of the church.
Sunday School
St Bartholomew's Sunday School children (from the age of 3 or 4) go to The Link at the beginning of the service and rejoin us at about 10.40 am for Holy Communion to receive a blessing. Youth Church For ages 11 and older meets during Sunday School times as above in the Link kitchen
St Christopher’s also has a Sunday School. Children start off in church then go to the Lady Chapel during the sermon and return to parents for communion.
